The QUEEN
This Lamps is from approx 1954 to (May - Aug??) 58, there is "Tilley (OWL) England" stamped onto the rim of the tank.
These bases were produced from appoxamatly 1950 to 1958,
to begin with there was a transfer on the bottem with "Tilley Lamp/ Model TL XXX"
this changed in the mid 1950's when they started to stamp "TILLEY (OWL) ENGLAND" onto the rim of the tank,
this was one of first Tilley's to be date stamped I have a TL106 and TL136 dated a November 1956.
with the last of this tank model, (TL106) in my colection dated May 1958.
